K.Club Ubud is a luxury villas eco-complex nestled in Bali’s jungle, surrounded by terrace rice fields with extensive views on the rainforest and waterfalls, dedicated to offering a unique and relaxing experience in the heart of Nature. 

K.Club Ubud has commissioned Léon to design their resort-style facilities from the Lobby to the Restaurant, the Jungle Pool Club, the Spa and Yoga center. The agency was given the entire artistic direction for this 360∞ project that goes from the concept and the brand identity to the architectural and interior designs and development.

With careful attention to capture and preserve the site’s values and charms, as well as adapting to the natural downward slope of more than 20 m (65ft), Léon has imagined an intimate eco-sanctuary setting down four floor levels that disappear into the lush tropical scenery. 

 

AKAR RESTAURANT
Towering above the treetops, the spacious semi-opened ‘cocoon’- structure accentuates the breathtaking views of the jungle. Maried with the natural-tones materials, it lends a timeless radiant feeling to the dining and kitchen & bar areas. The roof design follows traditional Balinese methods with massive bamboo arches covered in sirap wood. The open kitchen is arranged around a central cooking fire that enhances the authentic approach of the restaurant concept, focused on fine Indonesian-inspired healthy food with a twist, made from organic vegetables grown in the resort’s own garden alongside locally-sourced ingredients.
